No Rest For The Wicked is a TON of fun, but currently in Early Access, and that's the main hiccup I have with this game currently.

There are a LOT of good Metroidvania games - and a lot of bad ones. Akatori is shaping to be one of the former and I'm excited to see where it goes next!!

With a premise of "magical parkour and controlling elements" you'd think you'd be the avatar!!! But no - you are far from it.

From the mind of Justin Roiland (creator of Rick and Morty) we get High on Life. If you find the humor to your liking - you will LOVE this game. Otherwise... well... I can't say I enjoyed it at all.

Striking Distance Studios had so much potential. But we were all blinded by Dead Space - and that is not what we got.

I was SO excited for this game - but a lot of my hype has been killed by this demo. I'm HOPING that it is just due to the lack of familiarity with this new system.... but I'm not holding my breath.

This isn't the Dead Space you're looking for.

I never did figure out what the fox says.... but what I got instead was a whole lot better.

I did not know what to expect when I grabbed this game - but honestly I was blown away. Hands down one of the best games I've played this year - and yes I did play Elden Ring.

I really thought I was going to enjoy this, but that didn't happen in the end. But how knows, maybe this will be THE game for you?

Forbidden West is very much the same as Zero Dawn. I liked the first, so this is falling right into place.

SIFU is an incredible game made by Sloclap. It is absolutely a contender for GOTY. For sure indie GOTY, but maybe everything. We'll see how Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring goes.

SIFU never tells you about the left and right dodge, and they are very overpowered! You'll basically be like an agent in the Matrix!

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is a first person survival horror game. You will have to make tough decisions as to whether you craft a healing item or ammo, whether you fight or run.

An incredible hack and slash RPG made by Drinkbox Studios the same studio that made the Gaucamelee franchise. There is a surprising amount of depth and a TON of fun hidden behind the quirky art style.

Guardians of the Galaxy is an incredible journey marred by a few bugs and graphical annoyances. At full price, I find it difficult to to give this game a solid YES to this game....

Time Master is a puzzle game where the only mechanic is manipulating time. This clever puzzle game is one the of best I've played in a long time

Its like Tim Burton made Inception - but for children...... and this is a good thing.

You are a reaper of souls...... and a crow. Your whole job gets messed up with someone interrupts the culling of a soul. You now have to join them in their quest to open Death's Door.

Indie Developer Zelart has released a demo for their upcoming game There Is No Light. This atmospheric, pixel art, hack and slash has a LOT going for it. But is it enough to be worth your Wishlist...?

I should be playing Deathloop.... but Steam was having issues so I jumped over to this and WOW. So far this is INCREDIBLE. If this keeps up, might be my GOTY.

With inspirations from Metroidvania like games along with Dark Souls - Blasphemous is a dark 2d side scroller that was an absolute joy to play.

There was a lot of potential that was squandered. A bit title for the PS5 in a drought of games could of come off has a big hit. But instead we get something that is good but not great....

Returnal has a 70$ price tag....... is it worth your time and money??

This game changed how I look and play every other survival crafting game around.

A valiant sequel to the first one. Horror and questions abound as to traverse your way through the many puzzles found here.

From Supergiant Games studios - they've released another banger. Sound, Art, Gameplay, all amazing.

Its rare that pixel art looks this good. Its ART - that paired with the sound track and the story. Easily a must play!

A beautiful story of a brother and sister surviving in war torn France - however the boy's sickness isn't what it seems.

A classic point and click game whose Sci-Fi story just didn't do it for me.

A departure from the usual - they went for a slower scarey game, and I don't think it paid off.
